Maybe you need to try writing something of your own - something original?

A short fic featureing two archetypal characters (that way you don't have to do a lot of world-building).

When I feel like I can't draw anymore, I doodle my own stuff, and it's a lot easier to get back into illustrations for other people.

Maybe. That's not bad advice actually, think I'll give it a go. (Though it still won't solve the problem of my crappiness *sigh*).

The crazy thing is though, despite the fact that I am currently in the process of hating every word I have ever written, while I'm not writing I'm missing it. Even though I know whatever I put down will suck. Oh well. Enough of my rambling :)
