Random fannish things today...

I finished watching the BBC's 2008 production of Sense and Sensibility last night.
*Swoon*
I think it may be in line for about a gazillion re-views before its DVD release. Andrew Davies, who did such a fab job with the 1995 Pride and Prejudice, did another fine job in penning this adaptation.

Speaking of Pride and Prejudice, I clearly need a picture of punk!Colin Firth from Mamma Mia!. That needs to happen, haha.

Also - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog?
DVD NOW.
Please and thank you :P

Though, oddly, not Boosh-related, haha.

Nope. This time it's about the film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Which is brilliant. And one of my fave books ever.

EVER EVER.

While I'm not really keen on Viggo Mortensen generally, I can see it, which is a good start. Plus, you know, Guy Pearce and Robert Duvall doesn't hurt either. It sounds really promising and I'm quite excited and look, it's a picture:

So yes. The Road, McCarthy, Guy Pearce, squee-age!

Below is the Entertainment Weekly's list of 100 Classic Movies of the past 25 years. Bold the ones you've seen, underline the ones you plan to, strike out the ones you hate and refuse to watch ever again, italicize the ones you absolutely love.

1.
